I broke out my entire NBA awards ballot on Wednesday, giving a top 3 and a breakdown for each honor. But now I want to hit on the All-NBA, All-Rookie, and All-Defense teams and show those guys some love as well

These lists are excruciatingly difficult every season and this year was no exception. There are 20 or 30 players who merit consideration for each team, but ultimately they must all be narrowed to 10 or 15. I don’t envy the voters who must make these decisions, especially in situations where these results can actually impact a player’s salary going forward.

But that’s where we find ourselves and the system is the system. Until we have a better way of doing things, this is the nature of the business and everyone signed up willingly. We’ve seen multiple Nuggets players grace these lists in the past, and that should be no exception this season.

A quick disclaimer before getting into it: I do not have an official ballot from the NBA. Hopefully, that will change soon but for now, this is just for fun. These are not my predictions for which players will make the teams, this is just how I would vote personally if I had a ballot. With that said, let’s get into it, starting with the rookies.
