2) Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards has arrived. Simply put, the 22-year-old shooting guard is on a heater right now.

Minnesota’s franchise player just dropped 31.0 points per game in a 4-0 sweep of the Phoenix Suns. Edwards also averaged 8.0 boards and 6.3 assists while shooting 51.2% from the field and 43.8% from beyond the arc.

Ant-Man has become a fan favorite thanks to his undeniable charisma on and off the court. After knocking off the Suns, Edwards was not shy about the killer mentality he displays on a nightly basis.

Edwards does not lack confidence, and it shows in his play. The 2020 No. 1 overall pick has played with a special kind of swagger ever since he entered the league. In fact, he has exuded supreme confidence since his college days with the University of Georgia. Edwards was named the SEC Rookie of the Year in his lone season as a collegiate hooper.

Jokic praised Edwards in a recent interview, speaking highly of the young Atlanta native.

"He’s amazing. He’s a really dangerous player. He’s a really talented player who can do everything, who has everything in his aresenal. He’s actually a really funny guy to be around. Hopefully we’re going to have some fun too."
