These 3 players have no business being over Michael Porter Jr. in recent NBA rankings

Player #2: Immanuel Quickley, Raptors
This was another fascinating name to see on this list and one that is far too based on speculation for my liking. IQ was a solid bench player for the Knicks. He was traded to the Raptors and immediately thrust into a much bigger role and granted a massive contract.
But what has Quickley done to prove he’s worthy of that deal? Not much. The Raptors were not a good team last season following the trade for Quickley and it doesn’t seem like they will be any time soon.
Quickley was able to put up solid stats and decent efficiency leading a bad team, but there’s no reason to believe he’s anywhere close to being a lead creator on a decent team. And if that’s not in the cards, then he’s not really that valuable to a team.
Sure, there is a chance that Quickley will develop into that kind of player someday, but it’s not going to be this season. He has never come close to the kind of contributor that Porter Jr. has already proven to be on a legit contender.
Once IQ is a full-time starter on a playoff team then I can entertain this argument. But for now, it’s not even close.
