Feb 4, 2014; Gainesville, FL, USA; Missouri Tigers guard Jabari Brown (32) against the Florida Gators during the first half at Stephen C. O
Jabari Brown, a 6′ 4″ shooting guard out of the University of Missouri, was in Denver recently to conduct an individual pre-draft workout for the Nuggets.
Following his session, Brown had a chance to face the Denver media for the first time:
On working out in the famously thin air of the Mile High City:
"“The altitude is something else!”"

On what he thought he accomplished during his workout:
"“I showed I can handle the ball and create my own shot. They know I can catch-and-shoot, but just showing I can do other things, and that I’m a competitor.”"
On his weaknesses:
"“I feel like I can improve playing the pick-and-roll. I can improve on the defensive end. But I feel like I’m putting a lot of effort into both of those.”"
Brown mentioned that his day in Denver was his seventh pre-draft workout, so several teams have shown interest in the former Missouri Tiger and they are certainly putting him through his paces. It stands to be seen if Brown is a first-round talent, but if his packed dance card is any indication, he’s likely to hear his name called at some point during the 2014 NBA Draft.
