Danilo Gallinari Yuks It Up with Galli-Mini

Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari is currently sidelined with a knee injury, but that doesn’t mean he can’t take a few minutes to yuk it up with the miniature version of himself:
The video above was just posted by the team’s official site as part of their ongoing effort to promote the Nuggets action figure giveaway that is taking place through February 9 (the promotion kicked off back in December). At tomorrow night’s game against the Boston Celtics, the first 5,000 fans arriving at the Pepsi Center will receive their own Gallinari action figure, or “Galli-Mini” if you prefer.
Galli-Mini sports Gallo’s signature poofy faux-hawk and appears to have been doing lots of upper body workouts while his larger counterpart has been injured. I mean, nothing for nothing, but Gallo-Mini is ripped!
Here’s a rundown of all the action figure giveaway dates. Unfortunately, if you missed the Kenneth Faried and Arron Afflalo giveaway games, you’re probably out of luck, and better start digging through eBay listings if you’re looking to complete your set:
- Kenneth Faried action figure – December 19 game against the L.A. Clippers
- Arron Afflalo action figure – January 3 game against the Memphis Grizzlies
- Danilo Gallinari action figure – January 23 game against the Boston Celtics
- Ty Lawson action figure – February 9 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder
