The nausea that comes with sitting at a home event and seeing a flood of the visiting teams fans amongst you.  In your city.  At your home court.  Nothing quite like it.

Tonight was full of the Laker hopefuls at the Pepsi Center as the Nuggets pushed for their longest win streak of the season wrapping up the last of a 5 game home stand.

The Nuggets host Western conference pariah, the once great, Los Angeles Lakers.  A modern 2017 Lakers organization who appears happy to tank yet another season, waiting to see what new Laker legend Irving “Magic” Johnson brings to the organization with Jennie Buss back at the helm.

This being a TNT game, both teams had an extended team warm up with the game not actually tipping until 10:45pm EST.  With the opportunity to take both teams and I sit at my seat, I take in the competition..

I forgot that ex-Nugget fan favorite, Corey Brewer aka Noodles aka The Drunken Dribbler aka The String Bean, joined the Lakers towards the trade line from Houston earlier this year.

Although more astoundingly, Ron Artest aka World Peace , is warming up with the Laker team in tear away snap pants.  After some Google searching, it turns out he is not in fact a player coach, but, an actual roster player on the Laker rotation.  Wow, right?  I guess nostalgia continues to fund the Lakers operation in their rebuilding.  (Upon further Google iPhone research, turns out Mr. World Peace is a year older than coach, Luke Walton.)

Various rumors swelling around the league include the probability of Walton’s future as head coach with the new Magic-Jeanie leadership taking hold.
