With the latest NBA news blazing like wildfire about Kyrie Irving, Denver Nuggets fans are now salivating, but they need to learn to be content with the addition of Paul Millsap.

Kyrie Irving to the Denver Nuggets? Sounds like a pipe dream right? Well, because it is. Multiple reports are saying the superstar point guard for the Cavs wants out of Cleveland.

This has opened the door to many Denver fans rubbing their hands together and coming up with their best trade scenarios which would land Kyrie in the Mile High. Well, save yourselves the headaches folks because it simply will not happen.

This situation is simply too unrealistic even with Denver possessing a front court of Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap. Not to mention, reports are saying teams Irving would want to go to include the likes of the Spurs, Knicks and Timberwolves.

Judging by these rumors if they are true, it seems as if Kyrie has already made up his mind on where he may want to go and none of those destinations include the Nuggets.

Also, another aspect to keep in mind when it comes to Denver’s currently constructed roster is the fact that they seem sold on Jamal Murray going forward especially with other point guards like Mudiay and Nelson on the roster.

Would Kyrie make the Nuggets an actual contender? Absolutely. However, it is also important for Denver fans not to get their hopes up too high to the point where they disappoint themselves. All in all, fans should be satisfied with the fact which is the Nuggets were successful in landing a star in free agency in Paul Millsap.
