9. Henry Ellenson, F/C, Marquette, Fr./6’11”, 245 lbs.

Besides Ben Simmons, Ellenson might be the most productive freshman so far this season. He’s averaging 15.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 blocks per game for the Golden Eagles this season. Ellenson has ten double-doubles this season and has a very similar skillset to Kevin Love.

He can score in variety of ways, shooting the three or jumper from mid-range, also scoring on the low block. Ellenson is a tenacious rebounder who, like Love, also has very good vision and is a good passer. He doesn’t play much defense and needs to grow leaps an bounds on that end, but still can produce as an adequate shot blocker.
