4. Jamal Murray, G, Kentucky, Fr./6’4″, 207 lbs.

I’ve probably been higher on Jamal Murray for longer than most draft analysts, but I think he’s the best shot-maker in this class. Murray seems to be somewhat of a conudrum for scouts to figure out, as he rated all over the place by different draft sites. Currently CBS Sports has him ranked 5th, while DraftExpress has him down a little lower at 9th.

From the perspective as a Nuggets fan, I think Murray would probably be the guy at the top of my wish-list currently for Denver to draft come June. Murray is averaging 17.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for the Wildcats, while shooting 37.8 percent from beyond the arc.

He’s already a very polished scorer and can put the ball in the hoop in a varitey ways, creating off the dribble and scoring from every level. Murray has quite a bit of work to do on the defensive end however, primarily working on awareness and consistency as a defender.
