Wade Baldwin

Wade Baldwin, who left Vanderbilt after his sophomore year, did just about everything for the Commodores. He stands 6’3″ and weighs 195 which is a perfect size for a now-day NBA point guards.

Baldwin showed signs of potential in his Vanderbilt time, but ultimately he could not impose his will enough to scrape out wins in the SEC. Baldwin should not even be considered a sleeper anymore as his stock has rising from mid-second round to top 15. Here HoopsHabit seems to think that Milwaukee may take him at 10.

Baldiwin was solid at pretty much everything in his college time averaging 14.1 points per game on 42.7% from the field and 40.9% from three. Along with these above-average shooting percentages, Baldwin also proved to be a do-it-all type of guard as he averaged 5.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game. These stats are all above-averaged for a college point guard especially with just 2.8 turnovers per game.

But, would it be enough since Baldwin has never led his team to a record better than 21-14.

He could easily slip to 19, and, no doubt, would he be a solid fit behind Mudiay, but there may not be enough time for the Nuggets because it is highly doubtful that they want Baldwin bad enough to move up for him.

We wish the best of luck to you Baldwin because you probably will not be a Nugget next season.
