Thon Maker

Thon Maker, in my opinion, is definitely a hit-or-miss typer of player. With the film that I have seen on him, he has great handles and runs the floor. He plays the game with a passion of a child that was suppose to be written off. Thon Maker has something to prove, but will Denver let him prove it?

Thon Maker is a legit 7-footer with a wide wingspan and unnatural big man skills. He dips lower than most huge 7-footers because his lack of a back-to-the-basket game and his lack of strength. If Thon Maker can get some professional development, he could be a force.

I mean come on, he is a 7’1″ combo guard- that is incredible. He could be the biggest boom-or-bust player of the draft, so watch for maybe Boston to take him with one of their eight picks.

He would be chosen with the pick at 19. The Denver Nuggets could move into the top12 by combining their picks at 15 and 19, but this is all uncertain rumors. Thon Maker is not a necessary piece of the puzzle for Denver.

But, if he can prove his worth in the summer league, Thon Maker could snag a spot on the team and find himself some minutes.
