Emmanuel Mudiay

Mudiay was one of nine rookies to receive a vote for the ROY award last season. He had a solid rookie year running the offense for coach Michael Malone, however his season was plagued by a high turnover rate and low shooting percentages.

Mudiay closed the season strong, upping his shooting percentage to 39% in March including a career-high 30 point game where he shot 13-20, and 4-7 from 3. If you compare that to just 25% overall shooting in December, it’s clear Mudiay is trending in the right direction. During Summer League, Nuggets fans will be looking to see how Mudiay has improved his jumper during the off season.

If he can raise his percentages to even the NBA average, Mudiay will propel himself into the conversations as one of the best young guards in the NBA today. Fans will also want to see Mudiay be more vocal and take over as the clear leader of the Denver Nuggets.
