Multiple players stood out in the Nuggets dominant win, but there were players that stood out more than others.

Jimmer Fredette

You can tell that Fredette is an NBA veteran for sure. He came out firing in the game scoring 19 points in the first half of the game. He continued to finish with 26 points, while shooting 50% from the field. He also added two steals, three assists, and two rebounds. To top it off, his +/- was the highest on the team with a +38.

Petr Cornelie

Petr struggled in his first game, but bounced back quite nicely. He finished the game with 19 points and 7 rebounds and shot the ball quite nicely from the field. Cornelie definitely showed why he was worth the 53rd pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Defense & Transition Offense

The Nuggets defense was outstanding. They held the Grizzlies to only 34 combined points throughout the last 3 quarters and holding them to a very low field goal percentage. When they got the rebound, most of the time they would head out on a fastbreak for a score. The Nuggets looked very fluid with their transition game and it led to a dominating performance.
