Free Throws Are Crucial

The Nuggets shot a great percentage from the line (81.5%), and they forced their way to the stripe 27 times and made 22. Memphis, however, shot 23 free throws and made just 14 which is an horrendous 60.9%.

This game would irritate a coach for many reasons, and shooting just 60.9% from the line is one of them. The Nuggets were fortunate to convert on the chances that they were given at the charity stripe, and we hope to see more aggressive play from them coming up soon.

44 points in an incredible win, and free throws were a crucial aspect of why Denver were able to blow the Grizzles out by so much. Be prepared to see the same aggressive Nuggets team tonight against the Heat.
