Opinion: Nuggets Should Attempt to Get Paul George, not Westbrook
By Naz Alene
The Results
By acquiring Paul George, he will fulfill the current shooting and defensive struggles of the Nuggets, and it would allow them to let go of Gallinari’s $16 million contract. Paul George was named NBA All-Defensive Second team and All-NBA Third team. He would be an incredible boost for Denver.

The Nuggets could offer Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried, Jusuf Nurkic and a future first pick (Memphis Grizzlies top five protected pick) to the Pacers. George would be a tremendous addition to the team; veteran leadership is a big part of what he brings to the table. When the team faces adversity, they will finally have that superstar to rely upon.
For George, he’s been through it all, therefore, through certain stretches of the season if the team faces adversity, he could be the comfort barrier for the young and rising Nuggets. George can get it done on both ends of the floor. He’s a special player and could be the missing piece for the Nuggets.
