2 – Golden State Warriors

More and more teams are acquiring perfectly justifiable “rivalries” with the Warriors, and the Nuggets are no exception.

More from Nugg Love

Any average NBA fan should be able to predict the outcome of a Nuggets vs. Warriors match-up; most likely, the Warriors will win by a good amount. That’s exactly how their first two games went, but the one that followed surprised the entire NBA, as the Nuggets handed the Warriors one of their only nine losses on the entire season.

Ending the series on that note certainly left a bitter taste in the mouth of the Warriors, even though they came out on top of the series 2-1. The surprising win by the Nuggets made them one of the few NBA teams to register a win against the Warriors in each of the last three NBA seasons.

Watch for the salty juggernaut that is the Golden State Warriors to aim for total domination when they match-up with the Nuggets next season, knowing full well that Mudiay and the gang seem destined to once again, somehow, scrape off another mega-upset win. Will they do it four years in a row?!
