6 – Houston Rockets

The Nuggets started their 2015-16 regular season against the Rockets, and came away with an unexpected blow-out win. The two teams would meet again and complete a three-game series, all of which came as wins for the Nuggets.

Even though their final two victories didn’t match the grandeur of the first game’s twenty-point deficit, the Nuggets dominated the series. They played confidently in each game, and won with relative ease, against a team that went to the Western Conference finals just one year earlier.

After a shockingly disappointing season, the Rockets have a lot of ground to make up. There is a long list of teams with which they will take match-ups personally, and the Nuggets are certainly near the top.
