Gary Harris

Gary Harris was easily the Denver Nuggets most improved player last season. Harris finally began to show his skillset on both sides of the court when he was given more opportunities. Harris showed his ability to be a sharpshooter on offense and a very hard working defender. Harris showed that he has a grasp on both sides of the floor, being able to attack the rim and knock down jumpers, as well as understanding how to play good defense.

Harris improved on nearly every aspect of his game last season, but still has some room for improvement entering this season. The one area that Harris can improve on is creating his own shot on offense. Harris needs to gain the ability to create his own shot when the play fails and find more ways to score than simply taking jump shots. This aspect of his game is fairly minor but could go a long way in becoming an elite shooting guard.
