Starting off the list, the Nuggets travel up north to Toronto for a contest against the Raptors.

On the surface, this game doesn’t seem too challenging. However it’s when someone looks further into this game that they’ll find the true difficulty. The Raptors are coming off of a great run to the Eastern Conference in which they lost to the reigning champion Cleveland Cavaliers in six games. They should be on a mission to try to knock off the champs this year, and right their wrongs. This quest for vengeance will start early in the season, and it just so happens that they are the third team that the Nuggets will face. This being said they will have only two games to prepare for the Raptors.

Another scary thing about this match-up is that this game is the start of a five-game road stand, so the Nuggets will want to start it off with a bang. That means that Denver will have to travel up north to Canada to try to knock off Toronto. Specific players to watch this game to me are the point guard Kyle Lowry and small forward DeMarre Carroll.

The last thing that is a big aspect of this game is that it is the first time that the Nuggets will be shown on national television, the first of 14 times during the 2016-2017 season. Will the Nuggets let the pressure that national TV can bring get to them up north?
