A couple downsides to the schedule are that the Nuggets do not have a long home stance. They have two four-game home stands. When building momentum, this could be an absolute killer for such a youthful squad.

Also on top of this the Nuggets have at least 14 sets of back-to-back games. This is also a difficult aspect of any schedule. It is hard to play 82 full games let alone play 14 sets of those back-to-back. The fact that the Denver Nuggets are one of the deeper teams in the NBA will be a huge plus considering their multiple injury-prone players.

While being in the much more difficult Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets have to find a way to make a collective leap.

Let’s take a look at these five games which will help show us if the Nuggets are ready and prepared to take that leap to the next level.
