Nothing warms the heart of the NBA fan like seeing players showing some love to others, and the Bosnian Beast has certainly made one fans day.
Easily, one of my favorite things to watch on TV are the My Wish segments that were on ESPN occasionally. It was mainly because it showed a human side to big time NBA players. It shows that no matter how hard life gets that there is hope, and it is great for every one to see. Jusuf Nurkic, the Denver Nuggets big, showed his soft side also.
I have seen pictures of Kenneth Faried and others helping out, but I wanted to share this one with you because it certainly caught my attention.
A couple weeks after I took over Nugg Love as the site expert, I met Heidi Munholland on our Facebook page, and she has shared many pictures of how Nuggets have met with this little angel and made her day. Our big guy Jusuf Nurkic was one of them.
The Denver Nuggets and many more wished him a happy birthday recently. And, with some of those congrats came this picture, and I knew that I had to write on it.

It made me take a second, and realize that spending time to help others should be a daily thing. Thank you Heidi for sharing, and thank you Jusuf Nurkic for being a great example of how a basketball player should act.
We love the support that the Denver Nuggets have shown, and we will soon be doing a piece on the multiple different way that they have helped this summer. So, be on the watch!
