They continue to meet their kryptonite in superstars. Every superstar that Denver have played against has annihilated them. This time it was Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 32 points in this Wolves loss.
But it certainly was not all about the Wolves.
Denver put five players above ten points, and they had three go for 18 or more. Denver has truly changed their mindset to a team-first mentality.
The Nuggets were +1 on the boards which means that they continue to have out rebounded every opponent this season. Even with 22 turnovers, the Nuggets were able to get out in transition and snag an impressive win against the young and skilled team.
Man of the Match:
Danilo Gallinari- 19 points on 6-9 shooting and 4-7 from three, 5 rebounds, and 1 turnovers
The rooster as he is also called, Danilo Gallinari started the season on a poor note, but he ramped it up here.
His efficiency is the main reason that Denver was able to sneak out with a slim win.
