Klay Thompson’s name has been popping up for trades, but is it reasonable that the Denver Nuggets try to make a run at this prized shooting guard?

Reported by many sources, the potential trade rumors involving Klay Thompson may or may not be true, but it is certainly worth looking into.

Suppose Klay Thompson is on the trading block, then what? Do the Denver Nuggets want to waste multiple cornerstone players for him?

Then the question arrises: who should they trade for him?

Gary Harris, Will Barton, and Wilson Chandler- is that enough?

With Mudiay still running the show, Thompson would be able to spread the floor unlike any current Nuggets player can. Murray would be able to unlock 20+ minutes per night, but the small forward position would then we extremely weak.

Who else could there be, the Warriors are a hugely superior small ball team that would lose a killer of a three point weapon, and they would most likely continue to look for the small ball lineup. Will Barton could give them that, Gary Harris might, but none the type that Klay Thompson is. My prediction is any rumors of the Warriors switching this up is bogus, but if more light comes to the tunnel, we will hop on it.

There are several more options and let us know your opinions in the comments below, or let us know if you have any different players that could be a perfect fit for this Nuggets team.
