Nikola Jokic returns to action tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks
The Nuggets have mightily missed Jokic and his contributions.
During his absence, they went a putrid 1-2 without him. As a result, Denver fell out of the playoff picture making tonight’s game a must win, (Portland takes on Dallas tonight).
However, the Nuggets received good news today with Jokic returning to action tonight. Suddenly, the landscape of tonight’s game looks much different. You know who Denver is getting back in Jokic?

Just a man who averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in the month of January, something that has not been accomplished by a rookie or sophomore in 40 years. A man who has been a hair away of getting a triple-double in recent games. A player who has a player impact estimate of 16.2 on the year. Someone who achieved 9 double-doubles in the month of January.
Need I go on? I think you get the point now. The point being that he is really good. And do the Nuggets ever need him in the worst way. After this week, it is clear that the team needs the Serbian sensation on the floor. The Nuggets looked lost and dazed without him this week.
Hopefully they learned a thing or two in what not to do during Jokic’s absence. with Nurkic struggling, having Jokic back in the rotation will be a welcome sign for the Denver Nuggets. There is no guarantee of a win tonight, but it should be much closer than the fiasco that took place Wednesday.
