The Denver Nuggets have struggled to re-capture the magic since Karl’s departure, but they found a glimpse of it in their recent win.
The Denver Nuggets pulled off the un-thinkable.
They blew out the Golden State Warriors while being short-handed. In the end, it didn’t matter as the Nuggets routed the Warriors to a 130-112 victory.
This was the best win for the young Nuggets in the past few years. Ever since George Karl was fired and Masaii Ujiri went to Toronto, Denver has been forced to rebuild. The recent game against Golden State indicated that the rebuilding process may be over.
We could have very well witnessed a preview of the first round in the Western Conference playoffs. And let me tell you, Durant can yell whatever he want at the fans, but if Denver plays this well, there will be no sweep.

I’m not going to get too crazy and say the Nuggets will upset the Warriors in the playoffs, but getting one game and keeping up in two or three other games is not out of the question.
While it is nostalgic to think about the “good ole days,” of Nuggets basketball when the team won 57 games without an All-Star, fans should really look ahead to the future.
Seriously, this team’s future is so bright, it can blind you. Case in point, the most recent game where Denver’s bench consisting of mainly rookie’s out-shot the Warriors from beyond the arc.
After being tortured by the last two years of terrible Mile High basketball, fans and the team should rejoice in this recent win.
