It’s been long overdue for the Nuggets to win the NBA Draft Lottery, but with only a 0.6% chance of netting the first pick, their time might have to wait.

It’s no doubt that the Nuggets have steadily improved over the last couple of seasons and if the Nuggets were to some way win the lottery, their future would take a significant boost. The Nuggets sent Gary Harris as their representative at the NBA Draft Lottery. Harris came off of a career year and will hope to provide some luck for the Nuggets.

A top 3 pick in this year’s NBA Draft would be HUGE. This draft has been hyped to be one of the best drafts of all time. With many intriguing prospects, if there was a certain year the Nuggets were to win the Lottery, this would be that year.

Markelle Fultz, Lonzo Ball, and Josh Jackson are all top pick worthy players that have entered this year’s draft and drafting any of the three would be remarkable for the Nuggets. Even if their draft decision were to lead to another lottery year this upcoming season, acquiring a player like Fultz, Ball or Jackson would be a huge boost.

The Nuggets don’t have good odds, but sometimes the odds don’t mean much as many teams with low percentages to win the lottery have overcome the odds to win. Hopefully this year, that can be the Denver Nuggets.
