Gallinari will test free agency this summer and there is one team that he would be a perfect fit for.
I would love to see Danilo Gallinari back in a Nuggets jersey, but only if the price is right. There is one team out there that Gallo would be a perfect fit for in this league.
That team would be the Boston Celtics. The Celtics are in desperate need of a three who can spread the floor and score in spurts. Crowder is a good defender, but his offense leaves something to be desired. While Boston will smartly pursue Gordon Hayward first, Gallinari could be a terrific second option if they strike out on the Utah star.

Boston is already in a great place as they possess the first overall pick in the draft thanks to the Brooklyn Nets and were able to reach the conference finals this season. This means that Gallo could help them make that next step and possibly make the Finals in the next few years. A lineup consisting of Thomas, Fultz (if they take him in the draft), Horford and Gallo would be one of the most dynamic offensive lineups in the league.
The Celtics should try to get Gordon Hayward, but if they can’t, then Danilo Gallinari is another option who would be a perfect fit for their offensive scheme.
I want Gallo to return to the Mile High, but if we are talking about fit, then the Boston Celtics seem to be the best option out there for the high scoring wing.
