Don’t fret if Denver doesn’t land a star

While Denver has a ton of cap space, do not fret if they don’t land a star in free agency.

The Denver Nuggets are holding all of the cards this free agency. They have a ton of cap space and have a great shot at landing a star free agent.

However, there is always a chance they fail to land a star. Well, if this does happen, one should not be upset. Why you ask? Because the Nuggets’ future is still bright. Yes, landing a star would help the team a lot more going forward.

However, Denver has debatebly the best young core in the league. With an arsenal consisting of Gary Harris, Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, Denver has a great foundation set in place for the future. It may take a bit longer to for the Nuggets to be taken seriously in the Western Conference without a star, but fans’ patience will eventually pay off in the long run.

There is a long list of stars that Denver could target this summer. Paul Millsap, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Serge Ibaka are all free agents that would benefit the Nuggets. However, one has to also be realistic. Neither of them could comes to the Mile High.

There is a bright future still in place for the Nuggets no matter what, so do not worry if a star doesn’t come this free agency.
