There is one destination that is getting overlooked when it comes to potential teams for Gallinari to go to this free agency.

Danilo Gallinari will be one of the most talked about stories within Nuggets Nation. The Italian sharp shooter will be heavily pursued by other teams who need a solid stretch three. Many fans have already heard about possible destinations like Boston, the Clippers and even the Thunder of all the teams for potential landing spots for Gallo.

There is one team out there though, who could drastically improve with Gallo’s presence though that is getting heavily overlooked. That team would be the Miami Heat. Ever since LeBron left a few years ago, Miami has had trouble filling the void at small forward. Am I saying that Gallinari is LeBron? Absolutely not. No one in the league is LeBron.

However, he would make the Heat a sneaky good team in the Eastern Conference and would finally give the Heat a powerful offensive punch. Not to mention, if James Johnson leaves Miami in free agency, they will be in need of a new small forward anyway.

Miami is made up of gritty young talent that can play tough defense right now, but they certainly lacked some offensive firepower at times this season without a leader in Wade or Bosh. Gallinari would get a good pay day from Miami and find himself in an environment with young talent that would look to him for guidance.

He would also become the first or at the very least, the second go to option on offense. Something that would change in Denver with the emergence of Nikola Jokic.

Do not overlook the Miami Heat in the Gallo sweepstakes.
