Rumor: Nuggets in talks for Eric Bledsoe
By Mathew Huff
Rumors are abound and they involve the Nuggets discussing a deal with the Suns that would send Eric Bledsoe to Denver.
The Denver Nuggets are already trying to make moves as the draft is going on. They were recently mentioned in rumors that involved Jimmy Butler and now are reportedly in talks with the Phoenix Suns.
According to Denverstiffs, the Nuggets are trying to ship Emmanuel Mudiay with the 13th overall pick for the likes of Eric Bledsoe. Take a look at this excerpt from the Denverstiffs article.
"ESPN’s Chris Haynes is reporting that the Suns and the Nuggets are discussing a trade that involves sending Emmanuel Mudiay and the Nuggets’ 13th pick to the Suns in exchange for Eric Bledsoe. That would be a huge point guard upgrade since after getting off to a decent start in his rookie season, Mudiay did not make progress in his second season resulting in many DNP-CDs.However, sources are still describing the dialogue as “fluid”."
So, it still seems unlikely for the Nuggets to land the quality point guard.
However, it is nice to see the Nuggets’ front office engaging in trade talks and trying their best to improve the roster. If they can find a way to get Eric Bledsoe, it will be a huge win for the Mile High.
I know Bledsoe has had injury concerns, but Mudiay seems to have regressed and has had his own injury trouble.
