By now, it is no secret that Gary Harris became a sharp shooter this past season.

Gary Harris has improved every so far in his young career. What really stuck out last season though was his jump in offensive production. Particularly his three point percentage.

That is correct, Gary turned himself into a marksmen this past year. Per basketball-reference.com, Harris shot a three point percentage of 42% last season. This was a major jump from the year before where he shot 35. 4% from down town. With this impressive three point percentage, he also solidified himself a top 10 spot in the category for best three point percentage in the entire NBA.

Just to clarify this specific statistic a bit more, three point percentage is basically a stat that determines how often a player makes a three point shot per game. (That was for any amateur fans out there who may just now be getting into the game).

A definite sign that the man’s future is promising. I have been on record for saying that Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic are two untouchables for the Nuggets when it comes to trades. Well, in my honest opinion, Gary Harris should be added to that list as well. As a matter of fact, a contract extension should have already been granted to Harris, but that is a different story.

Harris is certainly not a Klay Thompson…yet.

With the way he has been growing as a player, do not be surprised if he becomes an even deadlier threat as time goes on.
