Jamal Murray got All NBA Rookie Second Team honors, but deserved to be on the first team more than anything.
Ah yes, another Nugget, this time Jamal Murray, was screwed over by the NBA. It really should not be surprising by now as the league seems to hate Denver.
Jamal Murray made the All NBA Rookie Second Team, but was kept off the first team for whatever preposterous reason. Buddy Hield, Murray’s own personal rival, was not as good as Jamal this past season.

The only reason his stats may seem better are because he had more of a role on his teams this year compared to Jamal, who was on a team with a crowded back court. Murray still had a terrific year whereas Buddy Hield was traded at the trade deadline to the Sacramento Kings.
I am not trying to cast any aspersions on Hield or any of the other rookies here, but it is getting to the point now where the NBA and it’s fans are taking their hate for the Nuggets and their players to a whole new level.
Let us not forget that Jamal played the entire year with a sports hernia! And yet, he still played the most minutes out of any Nuggets player. Jamal deserves All Rookie First Team honors and there really should be no debate about it.
We will see Jamal Murray continue to grow and flourish before our very eyes and it will be a privilege to have him on the team.
Hopefully, he channels this and uses it to become even better next season.
