Nike will be taking over the NBA jerseys this coming season and many Nuggets fans are eager to see what their new uniforms will look like.

The Denver Nuggets deserve new jerseys and I hope they are in good hands with Nike. This is not a shot at Adidas, but it will be nice to see Denver in a new get up for a change.

The hard part is waiting. Nike will not be unveiling their new designs for a while still and many fans, myself included, are getting anxious by the minute.

There are a few aspects I hope to see in the new jerseys themselves. Anyone who knows me knows I am a HUGE fan of the rainbow skyline jerseys Denver wore back in the day. As you would guess, I am hoping for a design that re-incorporated the skyline back into the Nuggets jersey.

A good example is a concept like Adam Mares had on his twitter page shown here: https://twitter.com/Adam_Mares/status/878825553905758208 I mean, just take a look at the black and blue one, isn’t that awesome?! Who knows, maybe it is a blessing in disguise these are just ideas and not the official designs since I would probably go broke within a week (insert shut up and take my money meme here.)

Fans are getting ancy to see what Nike will do with the Denver’s design and one thing is for certain, it is time for the Nuggets to get some new jerseys. If anything, it will signify a new era for Denver Nuggets basketball when you consider the Paul Millsap signing and the emergence of Nikola Jokic, Gary Harris and Jamal Murray.

Better yet, let’s hope for maybe a couple more alternate jerseys for this team considering they are a team on the rise.

Regardless, it will be interesting to see what Nike does with Denver’s uniforms.
