Last year was Nikola Jokic’s coming out party, but newly added Paul Millsap could bring out his full potential

Paul Millsap will be a welcome addition for the Denver Nuggets. Denver now possesses possibly the most dynamic front court in the Western Conference with he and Nikola Jokic.

More from Nugg Love

Jokic had a great year last season, but it is scary to think Paul Millsap could get into the untapped potential within the Joker. Millsap has a great reputation for being a down to earth class act in today’s NBA. He is the perfect star to compliment Jokic’s skill set down low. Millsap is a veteran who is ready to make the next step in his career and mentoring a young talent like Nikola will be perfect for him.

He is unselfish and has done many great things in his long career which he will be able to pass on to the Joker. Not to mention, he is a decent defender so he will be valuable in terms of helping him improve on the defensive end of the floor.

Millsap was the anchor for the Atlanta Hawks for years, so he will be beginning a new chapter of his career where he is a part of a great young core. A young core led by none other than Nikola Jokic who has a ton of unfulfilled potential despite his great year.

With a star like Millsap to look up to, Jokic will be able to pick up a few pointers and become an even deadlier weapon for the Nuggets. Denver is lucky to possess two great dynamic front court players and will be an even better team this year because of the addition of Paul.

Next: Jokic has a bit of Tim Duncan in him

We already know what he brings to the table himself, but he may do even more by tapping into Nikola Jokic’s potential which is yet to be seen.
