Head coach, Michael Malone needs to utilize Malik Beasley this upcoming year.

Michael Malone needs to find a way to harness the ability and potential of one Malik Beasley. He can do this in few different ways.

First of all, Beasley will have a shot at some meaningful minutes as the third string small forward. Something he did not get much of last season. With the departure of Danilo Gallinari, it opens the door for he and Juancho Hernangomez, who can also play as a stretch four, to do great things and develop even more effectively.

Second of all, if Malone wants Beasley to truly develop to his ceiling, he needs to actually run some of the offense through him where his number is actually called. Beasley showcased great spurts scoring wise in the Summer League and it just may be a sign of things to come in his future.

This leads to the third way Malone can harness his potential. He can also call plays which allow Beasley to be the facilitator, the quarterback if you will, and allow him to showcase his other talents besides scoring. This will make Malik also be effective at passing and rebounding the ball. In return, this will make him a dual threat to the opposing teams.

If they focus their defensive efforts on him, it will allow him to find the open man and help him grow to be a more rounded player. If they focus their defensive efforts on the other options on the floor, he can take it himself and show his tremendous scoring skill and potential.

If head coach, Michael decides to implement these three suggestions, then we will suddenly see a surge in the young Malik Beasley and he will break out for a terrific season for the Denver Nuggets.
