Nikola Jokic has been a great find for the Denver Nuggets and has the potential to become a MVP in the future.

There is no denying the talent level of one Nikola Jokic by now. The kid has single handedly taken the steering wheel of the Denver Nuggets franchise and looks to be on a great course.

Last year was his coming out party as he became the first Nugget since Andre Igoudala to record a triple double. He also did other great things, especially in a triple double perspective as he was doing things we have not seen from a big man since the great David Robinson.

When one looks at what he has already accomplished and the insane statistics, it is not too far fetched to see a possible MVP award in Jokic’s future.

Sure, the kid is not the most athletic player, but as long as he is producing and leading his team to victories, that is what counts in the grand scheme of things. Not to mention, with the numbers he has put up so far and how young he is, the Joker is only going to get better.

Obviously, this is not going to happen real soon as guys like LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard are at the top of their games. There’s even up and coming players who will have a shot like Giannis Antekounmpo will have in the near future. However, once Jokic hits his prime of his career, look out.

He is already putting up borderline MVP numbers and it is concerning for the opposition what he may do once his game gets polished and refined.
