Many Nuggets fans are calling for new jerseys and wondering what Nike will come up with for the Mile High. Well, I have my prediction and let’s just say it is not optimistic.
The Denver Nuggets are needing a new look badly. With Nike taking over the NBA reigns, many teams are getting makeovers and Nuggets fans are hoping they are included. Well, I hate to burst anyone’s bubble with my prediction, but I do not see a big change coming.

For some reason, I think the franchise is going to be stuck with pretty much the same look over the last couple of years. This is not to say their current style is “bad,” per say, but I do not think I speak alone when I say it is time for a change. Especially when you consider the fact we are entering a new era of Denver Nuggets basketball, so why not go with a fresh new look?
If the image we saw from the presser this week announcing Denver’s partnership with Western Union is any indication, then prepare yourselves so you are not disappointed because it looks like we will be stuck with pretty much the same jersey. In other words, do not get your hopes up my fellow Denver fans.
I would love to see a change and anyone who knows me knows I want the skyline to return to it’s rightful place on the front of the Nuggets’ jerseys. Unfortunately, I do not see it happening and we may be stuck with the same concept we have seen in the past couple of seasons.

Fear not though, there are more important things than the style of jersey and guys like Paul Millsap, Nikola Jokic, Gary Harris and Jamal Murray are still likely to be very productive and propel the franchise to it’s first playoff birth since the end of the George Karl era.
