The Nuggets will finally be unveiling two of their four new uniforms for the upcoming season this coming Tuesday.

The Nuggets set fans into confusion last week when they announced there new partnership with Western Union and didn’t reveal the new uniforms. We now know when, where, and what time the jerseys will be shown though and good news Denver fans, you guys can be there!

More from Nugg Love

In a newsletter the team sent out this week they announced that the jersey unveiling will be Tuesday August 8th from 5-6 p.m. at the The Galleria Terrace at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The event is open to the public and will give fans a first look at the Nuggets association and icon uniforms designed by Nike for this upcoming season. The newsletter announces that parking is limited though and here’s the address for anyone interested in attending, Speer Blvd & Arapahoe St, Denver, CO 80204.

Denver has been doing some teasers lately, but as my colleague Mathew Huff pointed out in an article the other day don’t expect to much change in the uniforms this season. The only real difference I can see in the uniforms would be them going away from the UCLA baby blue and going with a more navy blue. Here are a few of the teasers the team put out this past week:

Nike and the NBA announced there will be no set “home” jersey for teams next season and that teams can choose to wear any of their four uniforms when playing at home. The opposing team will just have to adjust and where the opposite color of the other team. These jerseys previews have shown a lot more navy and have shown more use of the Denver’s pick-axe logo so that’s something to look for come Tuesday.

Now Denver will only be revealing the association and the icon uniforms this week and will wait to reveal the “athlete’s mindset” and the “community inspired” uniforms in a month or so. There will also be eight teams selected to wear classic jerseys next season, but it doesn’t seem like Denver will be one of those teams selected.

So it doesn’t look like the old skyline look will be coming back in terms of the classic way, but the skyline could still appear in one of the Nuggets four new uniforms.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens on Tuesday and we will have all the updates here at Nugg Love once the new jerseys get revealed.
