The city of Denver is made up of some of the most passionate sports fans, but the Nuggets could give them a shot in the arm this coming season.

The Denver Nuggets had one of their best off seasons ever. The addition of four time All Star, Paul Millsap, will cover a multitude of mistakes.

However, the Nuggets could also help the overall well being of the city of Denver as well. As of right now, Nolan Arenado of the Rockies is injured, the Broncos are in the toughest division in the NFL and the Avalanche do not look very good at all. Que the Denver Nuggets.

I will debate anyone who says Denver does not have some of the loyalest sports fans in the nation. The Nuggets are no exception.

With the Nuggets expected to make a big jump this coming NBA season, the city of Denver will once again have something to get excited about in the sports world. Not only will Nuggets fans find their passion for their team again, other fans of the Colorado sports teams will be pleasantly surprised and come out to show their support for the newly rebuilt Nuggets squad.

Ever since the Broncos won Super Bowl 50, there has been a hangover seemingly lingering over the Mile High city and the Nuggets possess the correct cure. This is not to say the other sports teams will not find success, the Rockies have actually been a surprise this year, but the timing of the Nuggets building this core to finally compete in the playoffs seems about perfect.

Nikola Jokic is becoming the next beloved sports figure in Denver, Paul Millsap will be adding star power, and Gary Harris and Jamal Murray are each looking like they will develop into great NBA talents.

Next: Millsap shouldn't have trouble being second option

Do not be surprised if the Nuggets reinvigorate the city of Denver this coming season.
