Gary Harris: Nuggets’ best secret
By Mathew Huff
Gary Harris is one of the most underrated players in the league and the Nuggets are lucky to have him.
Ever since Nikola Jokic showed a ton of promise last year, the entire league has taken notice of the Serbian big man, but Gary Harris is still a player who is relatively unknown.

The Denver Nuggets are lucky to have the up and coming two guard and the fact he is still underrated and diamond in the rough actually benefits Denver. As a Nuggets fan, I am glad the league does not pay much attention to Gary? Why you ask? Because it give Harris the element of surprise when they finally have to face him.
Harris became a deadly three point shooter last season to go into his arsenal of abilities such as being a great perimeter defender and adept at cutting to the basket. Harris is able to cut to the basket with success many times since Nikola Jokic has an untouchable passing instinct. Harris is bound to improve even more this coming season which should be scary to the rest of the league especially playing with two stars in Nikola Jokic and newly added power forward, Paul Millsap.
He is one of the lesser known shooting guards in the league and the Nuggets have done a great job in being patient and allowing him to develop properly.
Do not forget, many were saying he was already a bust in his less than stellar rookie season. He quickly proved these doubters wrong in his sophomore season as he showed terrific improvement on the offensive side of the court and even improved defensively having the best season of his career on this end of the court.

Do not be surprised to Gary Harris go off next year and take the league by storm.
