Many fans were upset about the Nuggets’ going away from the powder blue and going towards navy blue on their jerseys, but I personally believe they look better.

While it is only my opinion, I personally think the Nuggets were smart going with navy blue rather than staying with the powder blue.

More from Nugg Love

While it was good while it was lasted, it was time for a change. Denver needed a new look that was bold and foreboding and could strike intimidation into the opposition. The powder blue is more of the North Carolina Tar Heels trademark and it is nice to see the Nuggets going with a new scheme with their blue color.

Many fans are disappointed in the new jerseys because they were expecting a return of the skyline or they think the blue jerseys look too “Pacerish,” from last season. However, they are missing the bigger picture. It was time for a new era of Nuggets’ jerseys and they will demand a lot more attention than the powder blue ones did.

Denver finally went to a scheme which screams ” I will burn you on the court if you do not take me seriously,” compared to the North Carolina color rip off.

I mean, Denver was due for some type of change. And I am not afraid to be in the minority when I voice my opinion and say I personally love the change.

The white jerseys look very similar as they did before, but then again, it is hard to alter plain white jerseys. Do not forget though, Denver also updated the shorts and are re-incorporating the pick axe logo. A welcome addition in my opinion.

I know the new jerseys are not popular with every Denver fan, but I personally feel the new blue color is a more than welcome change.
