Paul Millsap holds mini camp in Atlanta for Nuggets’ teammates
By Mathew Huff
Paul Millsap has wasted no time in demonstrating his leadership ability.
Paul Millsap was a great leader for the Atlanta Hawks. Not only was he a leader, he was a star. Millsap decided to take his talents to the Mile High this summer and he has wasted no time in getting to work for the Nuggets.

He recently held a mini camp for his Nuggets’ teammates down in Atlanta to get some work in for the team. This should be something every leader and star does for any team and it is good to see the young Nuggets taking the right steps with a veteran like Paul Millsap.
Not to compare him to a Broncos legend, but how many times did we hear about Peyton Manning working on his craft outside of practice? If you said many times, you would be correct. This is what a leader does; he demonstrates the will to improve and get better even when he is not on the job.
This is what Paul Millsap is doing and trying to instill into this Nuggets’ core. From what it sounds like, there was a pretty good showing according to Harrison Wind of BSN Denver.
"“Paul Millsap, Wilson Chandler, Malik Beasley, Jamal Murray, Will Barton, Jameer Nelson, Trey Lyles, Darrell Arthur, and Kenneth Faried are among Nuggets players working out together in Atlanta this week, league sources told BSN Denver.” Harrison Wind"
It is great to see some of the young players attending this like Malik Beasley, Trey Lyles and especially Jamal Murray as it shows they are serious about getting better not just as players, but as an entire team as well.

I was already happy with the Millsap signing, but after hearing about this, I believe he will be more than a perfect fit for the Denver Nuggets.
