The Nuggets have finally developed a duo of stars.

Paul Millsap is the perfect star for the Denver Nuggets. Not only does his demeanor and personality fit the city, his leadership ability will stand out for the team.

He is a veteran who will be an excellent mentor for young players including the other Nuggets’ star Nikola Jokic.

Jokic has quickly evolved into one of the most exciting centers in the league and Millsap will bring out the best in him. Jokic became the first Nugget to achieve a triple double last season since Andre Igoudala. With a four time All Star in Paul Millsap helping him man the paint next season, Denver will rise in the Western Conference.

Both stars are unselfish and could catapult the Nuggets into the elite levels of the Western Conference in the distant future. Not to mention, the Nuggets now possess two go to options down the stretch if they need a bucket in a close game.

Both Millsap and Jokic have the ability to close in late game situations which was one of Denver’s main problems last year. Expect this to change this coming season.

The Denver Nuggets have been set on a path to becoming elite and the fan base should be ecstatic for the future.
