Denver Nuggets: Could the Dwyane Wade saga start again?
By Blake Holmes
There are several aspects that could affect the Nuggets.
The Nuggets have a plethora of shooting guards, but adding Dwyane Wade could help give experience to those younger guys. A good example of a player that could use the mentoring is Jamal Murray, a young player who is on the up and up in his potential. I think that Murray could be a great player, but it will come in time and in a good mentor.

Wade may not cost as much as the Nuggets were going to give him last off-season now, but he may not be the cheapest option. Even so, Denver has the cap room necessary to try to make a deal with the future Hall-of-Famer. Wade could come in and be a good sixth man option, playing both the point and shooting guard positions. Yes, it could take some time away from the younger guards, but I propose a solution.
Why not play Malik Beasley at the small forward some, and see if he could make the transition? He’s a bit undersized, standing at 6’5, but has the athleticism to jump out of the gym and play with the bigger guys. I’d love to see him make that change, and the addition of Wade could cause the Nuggets to make that decision. The move would make more sense considering there is only one true listed small forward on the roster, Wilson Chandler.
Wade could add another face that people would fill the seats to see as well. The Nuggets made a splash by signing Paul Millsap, and Nikola Jokic is becoming a star before our eyes. Would Dwyane Wade improve ticket sales even more? My answer to that is yes, because as I stated before, I believe that Wade is a future Hall-of-Famer.
