Jamal Murray had a terrific rookie season for the Denver Nuggets, but he will be even better this coming season.

Jamal Murray is one of the up and coming young talents for the Denver Nuggets. He was a steal in his draft class and was the only player on the team to play every single regular season game.

He battled through two sports hernias during the season to pull of this feat which showcased how tough the kid really is and showed how bright future is. Murray was a solid player off the bench for the Nuggets last season, but he will have an opportunity to fight his way into the starting rotation this coming year.

Not at his normal shooting guard spot as Gary Harris has solidified himself as the clear cut starter at the two spot, but Murray could possibly be the starting point guard. The Nuggets have been trying to figure out what to do with the point guard spot since last season and they even toyed with starting Murray at the spot near the end of the year.

Each time, he was effective even notching a double double at one of the times he started at point guard. This has made many fans wonder if the Nuggets even need to trade for a point guard as they just might possess the point guard of the future in the Kentucky sensation.

Regardless of what position he plays in the back court, Murray is poised to have a great second year in his NBA career. The kid has too good of a work ethic to be plagued by the dreaded sophomore slump. If you do not believe me, then just look up some of the videos of him working on his game so far this summer.
