The 2K ratings for the Nuggets are out and Nikola Jokic is rated slightly above Paul Millsap.

The fact that Nikola Jokic is rated higher than Paul Millsap in NBA 2K18 is a little surprising to me. Do not get me wrong, I am not mad either way, but I could have sworn Millsap would have been higher than Jokic due to the veteran experience and the better defensive abilities.

Nikola Jokic has a rating of 88 and Millsap is only one point below at 87.

As a matter of fact, you can see where all of the Nuggets players are rated in a tweet from Harrison Wind.

As you can see, most of these ratings are actually pretty accurate. Plus, like I eluded to before, I am not upset at all about Jokic’s and Millsap’s ratings.

In fact, I think they almost hit them right on the money.

Like I said though, I was expecting to see Millsap either tied or at least slightly higher than Nikola Jokic in terms of ratings. Some of this may be due to the developers thinking some of Millsap’s abilities will take a bit of hit due to him getting a little up there in age.

It could also be a case of them thinking Jokic will make another magnificent jump this season by learning from Paul Millsap.

Or, it very well may be a case of both scenarios. However, it is great to see at least three Nuggets are ranked somewhere in the 80’s, with Gary Harris being the third highest rated on the team at an overall of 81.

This could show that 2K is buying into what the Denver organization is building in the Mile High and it may be time to start overlooking them. Regardless, it is great to see Jokic and Millsap highly ranked in the game.
