On this countdown, we continue with Wilson Chandler.

With the Broncos season kicking off tonight, we continue this countdown of who equals who with Wilson Chandler. Chandler is one of the most versatile players on the Nuggets’ roster and would have a spot on most NBA rosters.

He debatebly had the best year of his career last season as he bounced back from a season where he had to miss the entire year due to a major hip injury. So who on the Denver Broncos would he equal? Chandler would be the safety Darian Stewart.

With T.J. Ward being recently released, Stewart is now the veteran leader of the safeties and still an integral part of the elite secondary, the “No Fly Zone.” Stewart has always been underrated and could play for many other NFL teams if he needed a job. Darian is an extremely versatile player. He can blitz, defend the pass and even provide a massive hit once in a while which always energizes the crowd. Chandler is similar in many of the same ways.

He is a player who can do it all whether it be score, rebound, pass or even play some good defense once in a while. When he has a great performance, it greatly energizes the Nuggets’ fan base and gives them something to be excited about until the next game. This comparison makes a lot of sense because they are both rugged players who are extremely effective and essential parts of their respective teams.

The city of Denver is actually lucky to have these two versatile athletes and in a way, they are both underappreciated in one way or another.

Wilson Chandler serves a good role on the Denver Nuggets and the Broncos are lucky to have Darian Stewart as part of their “No Fly Zone,” secondary.
