Gary Harris closely resembles Chris Harris Jr. of the Denver Broncos for the Denver Nuggets.

Gary Harris has become a great two way player for the Denver Nuggets. Any avid Nuggets fan knows who Gary is by now and how learned how he has worked his way up from being a potential bust to one of the breakout players for Denver.

So, who on the Broncos does he closely resemble? He would equal Chris Harris Jr. You may recall an article I wrote a while ago comparing the two players, however, one has to admit the comparison does make a lot of sense.

Much like Gary, Chris Harris Jr. started out from the bottom and worked his way up to stardom. He started out as a practice squad player and is now the best corner in the game (and yes, I said the best.) We are seeing Gary take on the same path.

He rarely played in his rookie season and was thought to be an eventual bust, but broke out in his second year. He continues to get better year after year just Chris Harris Jr. does for the Broncos. The only thing that remains to be seen is who will be Gary’s premier back court mate as we all know about the elite duo Chris has formed with Aqib Talib (the second best corner in the game.) In other words, Harris equals Harris, pun intended on purpose.

Gary Harris still has a sky high ceiling and it is scary to think that he has not quite reached it yet. Chris Harris is beloved by the Broncos not just for his talent, but for his underdog story as well and Gary has an extremely similar story.

This comparison makes a lot of sense, and no, not because they have the same last name.
