The Nuggets were without any of their starters, but in the end, it did not matter. The Nuggets were still able to prevail over the Lakers by a final score of 122-104. Thanks to a dominant performance from Jamal Murray, the Nuggets were in the drivers seat from tip off and showed how much potential their second unit has going into this new NBA season.
Trey Lyles also had a remarkable performance particularly defensively logging a nice total of four steals. Do not forget as you pay attention to the point guard battle, there is also a heated battle for the back up power forward position as well and Lyles seemed to take the lead for the spot in the this win.
Lonzo Ball sat out this game for the Lakers as he sprained his ankle in the previous game against Denver, however, with the way the Nuggets were spraying the three pointers, it probably would not have mattered if he was playing. Jamal Murray led the way with his sweet three point shooting with an outstanding three point percentage of 83.3%!
Talk about Steph Curry like numbers. The high point man on the night for Denver was actually Kenneth Faried as he logged 25 points while shooting 84.6% from the field. Denver showed great team effort and was once again showing great ball movement in their dominant win. Granted, this is preseason and the team they were playing is trying to rebuild, but you cannot deny how fun the Nuggets are to watch so far this preseason.

If this carries over into the regular season, then many teams are going to have to watch out for Denver.
