Malik Beasley’s Denver Broncos equivalent

On this countdown, we continue with Malik Beasley and his Denver Broncos equivalent.
Malik Beasley is one of the most beloved bench players in Nuggets Nation. While he did not receive very much playing time at all last season, many fans still want to see him on the court this season to showcase his potential.

With good reason as well. Many times now in Summer League and G League action, Beasley has torched the opposition with his terrific scoring. He is a player who can flip the switch at any moment and shift the momentum with one huge play. Similar to the new punt returner of the Denver Broncos, Isiah McKenzie.
Isiah McKenzie is a rookie wide receiver who has found an important role for the Broncos. They struggled on this special teams aspect significantly last year and they made sure to remedy this in the draft. Isiah McKenzie has proven to be a great answer.
While he has not scored a touchdown yet, he has had many returns where he has put the offense in terrific field position making their lives much easier.
Malik Beasley is one of the Nuggets’ players who is brimming with potential. He has the ability to create his own offense and take control when needed. Beasley is also very athletic just like McKenzie and can utilize this to his advantage. When he has been given adequate time in G League or Summer League play, he has shown to be a solid player who can put up points in a hurry.

In a way, he was a steal for the Denver Nuggets just like McKenzie was for the Denver Broncos. When one thinks of it, it makes perfect sense to make the comparison between Malik Beasley and Broncos punt returner, Isiah McKenzie despite them playing different sports.
